About Us

Background

Wild Atlantic Law was inspired by the example of the Burren Law School, which ran for 25 years at the Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan. It gathered the great and the good of the Irish legal, political and media world for discussions of all aspects of law and legal practice from medieval times to the present. The Burren Law School itself carried on the tradition established by the O’Davoren Law School, a Brehon law college, which ran between 1563 and 1569
